Aim & Scope

IJCT(International Journal of Culture Technology) will be the most comprehensive international journal on the various aspects of culture technology and its applications. IJCT provides a chance for academic and industry professionals to present recent progress in the area of culture technology. The goal of this journal is to bring together the research results from academia and industry to share ideas, works, problems and solutions related to the multifaceted aspects of culture technology. Authors are invited to submit original papers in all areas related to culture technologies and their applications. Topics include, but not limited to, the following areas : Digital Contents, Foundation/Source, Performance/Exhibition, Culture Service, Advanced Technology, Humanity/Social Science, Art/Design, and Convergence Technologies. etc.

Guide for Authors

Submission Policy


IJCT is a refereed quarterly journal and all submitters must accept the following agreement:

Making a submission to IJCT is a serious matter and we expect anyone submitting to IJCT to confirm the following:

  1. I confirm that this submission is the work of myself and my co-authors.
  2. I confirm that any research reported in this submission involving human subjects has gone through the appropriate approval process at my institution.
  3. I confirm that I have read the journal policies for publication and agree to abide by them.
  4. I confirm that I will treat the intellectual property and contributions of my fellow contributors and the reviewers of my work with respect.


Reviewing Policy


This section gives policy guidelines for the evaluation of material for IJCT publication. The audience is both editors-in-chief and potential authors.

  1. Submitted papers shall be reviewed by three qualified, independent reviewers who are asked to assess the relavance, originality, correctness and quality, validity of conclusion, and clarity of writing of the paper; and who are asked to provide a written review report that shall be provided to the author.
  2. In cases where reviewer comments suggest that a paper may be acceptable only with revisions, the author(s) shall have an opportunity to submit a revised paper. Minor revisions may be reviewed by an editor or designee. Major revisions should be reviewed by independent reviewers, generally to include the reviewers who originally considered the paper not acceptable in its original form.
  3. The following dates will be printed on each paper published in IJCT journal:
    - date received
    - date of final revision
    - date of acceptance


Reviewing Process


This section gives general reviewing process.

  1. All submissions should be made through the official "paper submisssion" menu of IJCT web site and submitters must be the member of IACST(http://iacst.org). For an efficient and just review, submission by mail is not allowed. Including paper submission and review status verification, each submission and review process can be checked on the official IJCT web site.
  2. Normal review usually takes one month and paper review result will be mailed when all three reviewers finish the review process. Also, the detail review results of the three reviews will be shown on IJCT site.
  3. During the review process, reviewers information is hidden to the authors but communication about review issue among authors, reviewers, and editors is possible through IJCT review related menus.
  4. One registration is required for each accepted paper and it can be done on the IJCT web site.
  5. After the paper is published, the journal issue will be posted on IJCT web site and two hard copies will be maild to the correspondiong author.
